All The Little Things

This blog was posted and written by Noemi A. Gonzalez, freshman at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications, ASU /Intern at AZ Foothills Magazine / Team Mentor at NGC /Writer for State Press Magazine

"It's really about appreciating the little things in life: living life to the fullest," said Mackenzie McCreary, Journalism freshman at the Walter Cronkite at ASU, as she explained why Seasons of Love is what her outfits would sing if they could.

As Mackenzie walks from place to place her hair bounces with intricate curls that reflect a time such as the Renaissance.

And as each curl differs from the other, her style complements that notion of uniqueness.

"I just buy pieces that I like, and I end up pairing them together," she said. "I've always said my style is bohemian...and I think it goes with my ideals. I don't think I'm trying to say anything, just trying to be comfortable in my style and be myself, really."

The Warehouse 13 and Pushing Daisies fan has made it a trend to shop at Charming Charlie. Knowing now that she looks up to Chuck from Pushing Daisies, the connection Charming Charlie and Mackenzie makes sense.

"I guess I look up to Chuck from Pushing Daisies because I love her sundresses," she said. "[They're] really vintage."
