Not Enough Studs

This past Saturday the nation celebrated local businesses (actually, I think we celebrate for a whole month, no?), so I figured (about 2 minutes ago) that what better way to start Cyber-Monday than to promote the act of shopping locally - even cyberlly-locally (sc)?!

And even so, what better way to do this than to show off my studded burgundy-rosewood belt that I bought at a small shop on 51st and Baseline cuddled among a nails shop and other businesses. I'd tell you the name, but I sorta' can't remember. HOWEVER...

To help you today with your Cyber-Monday shopping click here to see a list of local shops that may have online shops, and remember to "stop" by  Merry May  - whether you're looking for that special vintage piece for you, for her or for him, this is your stop!

Bits & Pieces: Merry May

I think I can vouch for most that we all enjoy the dainty local vintage shops, especially when they come in the sweetest ride ever -- a 1961 Shasta Airflyte travel trailer.
I discovered Merry May this weekend at a pie social event that I had to take photos of for a magazine.

I haven't shopped at this online corner, but I definitely recommend you checking it out. You might find some neat historical treasures!

They're also currently giving a give-away, I think, in celebration of their birthday. Anywho, if you find something you like and end up buying it, definitely send us photos of you rocking out to one of the glamorous vintage pieces at chatoyant.blog@gmail.com

Xoxo,
