So wearing skirts and cropped shirts is what I resort to on most days.
Today, I went on a Chili Challenge adventure for an article for the university magazine that I work for and found myself wanting to wear something with a striking color and something that reminded me of summer.
It came down to my orange skirt from Target for $12, as I mentioned before -- the skirt has become a favorite in my wardrobe -- and the cropped shirt with knitted flowers on its shoulder line on the backside that trickles down into a V shape. The shirt is Energie brand, which I'm almost certain I got from Marshall's for no more than $10. The sandals are from Target for $15; however, with the season change, I'm certain they've gone on sale by now. The nail polish is from Julep; check out the previous post from this one.
Looking at the outfit now, the colors and the flowers remind me of November and Fall...Perfect, no?
