1 More Shopping Tip

Hey kitties,

A few days ago Gabee shared with you all some insightful tips for when shopping.

I have one more, and it's going to sound silly and maybe cheesy, but I find that my life revolves around this tip and I make a point of making sure my mom considers this tip before buying something, anything.

Scenario 1:

You go to BCBG. Get out. Ross has in stock some BCBG pumps. They're goooooorgeous.

Anyway, for the real tip:

Real scenario:

You find yourself at one of your favorite stores. You are currently holding an intricately cotton shirt or shorts or something nice and warm for this hectic weather. You ask yourself, "Do I need this?" Well, if you ask Buddha: No, no, you don't.

So you ask yourself: Do I really WANT it? If I put it back and walk away, will I go home and think about this intricate pattern and delicately woven garment the next day? Life will go on, surely.

Anyway: I simply tell myself: You're not getting it. Put it back. And in that instant moment, if I ache for the inanimate object I grab it and buy it. I'm being quite sincere here  Don't laugh.

Gabee's tips are much more practical, but I honestly do this. And I've made it a point of occasionally making Gabee ask herself this. I think I've done it once to her. But it's mostly my mom. And she's learned well.

Bye for now!

Sincerely,
Nemo.

Just kidding. This is Noemi G. and just G. because I'm a G.

Super Kitty!

Pretty wild how we can get inspiration from pretty much anything, right? Here, at Chatoyant, we get a lot of our fashion inspiration from music, and this outfit isn't much different.

Yesterday, I took it upon myself to create a safe, nesting place, aka case, for my iPod because most manufacturers seem to think people only own iPod Touch-es nowadays, but I digress.

I made a case that turned out to look like a mixture of a cat and a penguin-- you should know that I also love penguins, so this was okay.

With cute cat stuff still on my mind, I decided to wear my new, red wine, kitty shorts from Forever 21 today. They were a Christmas gift, but I'm pretty sure they were $17.99 (more on how I know this later).

They kitty print on them is a nude, slightly brown color, so I kept the entire outfit within the same color palette-- my current nail polish even inadvertently matched.

My sweater, also a Christmas present, is from Kohl's. It  has a very subtle high-low cut which I thought looked well because I wore the shorts at my waist.

The front of the sweater has golden splotches which reminded me of another Christmas present from Forever 21: these gold heart, pointed toe flats.

To finish off the look/add warmth/add some edge, I went with a black pleather riding jacket I've had for a few years. I really like the buttons and details of this one.

Lastly, I'd like to leave you all with a picture of me creepily holding my cat!

I was reading through my "About Me", and I had promised to share more of this guy on here but never actually have (but you can see plenty of him on my Instagram! @GabeeStoppable).

I've also updated my little blurb there, so if you're interested in finding out a bit about yours truly, feel free to give that a read!
