Gabee's January Favorites

Here's what I loved this past month :)

Nude Suede Flats With Cap Toe. These are a replacement to my Sam & Libby nude flats I wore to death. I actually think I like these a little better, and if you remember, I loved those other ones A LOT. -Charlotte Russe $9

Floral Peter Pan Collar Dress. I love collars; I love floral; I love this dress. I bought this after Christmas, and the pop of color on a winter day made me really happy. Now that the sun is back, this dress makes me even happier. -American Eagle Outfitters $15

Army Green Ripped Jeans. I really like how versatile these are. I can easily style them for a super girly look, an edgy one, or a really casual, laid back look. -Forever 21 Gift

Head Accessories. I had a whole post on these. They kept me warm and cute. -Beanie: H&M / Headband: $1 Jewelery Store (Seriously, I should know its actual name by now)

Rimmel's Lasting Finish by Kate Moss. This whole line is perfect-- they also come in matte! If I could, I'd buy every single shade, but for now, these three red shades will do. The one on my lips in this picture is 110, the others is 12.  -Drugstores $4.99

That is all for this month's favorites!
***Just a bit of an announcement: it's getting pretty difficult for me to post on Thursdays, so starting today I'll be posting on Fridays instead. And to work with my OCD, I'll also be posting on Mondays instead of Tuesdays. So, Mondays and Fridays it is!

Beanies and Florals

This outfit is from a few weeks ago. Please excuse the short, continuous OOTD posts, technical issues are no fun. More interesting content coming soon!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have I told you all how completely obsessed I am with beanies?
The only thing I struggle with when wearing one (especially this black one), though, is keeping some of my femininity in tact within the look.
Very little screams girliness more than pink, floral, strapless,  mini-dresses, so I paired my beanie with just that.
Of course, it's winter and desert nights can be freezing, so I had to do some layering.
I threw a black, sheer blouse over the dress and black tights underneath.
To add even more color, I wore my blue, suede-ish, oxfords.
I finished off the look with a denim jacket and rose gold bangles.

Feeling Wild & Free in Cowboy Boots

I'd be lying if I said this look wasn't inspired by my soul mate (yes, soul mate), Nick Santino from A Rocket to the Moon-- the man rocks jean jackets and cowboy boots like no other.
In fact, you should listen to this as you read on:

I really like this outfit. Like my last post, this one has the colors that remind me of fall. The floral shorts remind of a similar pair I wore over the summer in yellow and navy blue, but these flowers are a bit more rustic which I thought would be cool to pair with my sister's cowboy boots. On top, I went for my handy dandy sheer cami from Forever 21 with a denim jacket, a hand-me-down from my aunt, for a fun yet super chill feel. I completed the look with a multi-tone coin necklace from Payless.  Again, I'm wearing one of Revlon's Lip Butters in Raspberry Pie but this time with Maybelline's ColorSensational in Plum Perfect on top for a deeper red-ish color.
